Gazprom Energoholding sees Pancevo power plant permit in 2018
GROZNY, Dec 19 (PRIME) – Serbia will issue a permit for construction of a 180 million euro thermal power plant in the country’s city of Pancevo until the end of 2018, Gazprom Energoholding CEO Denis Fyodorov told reporters on Wednesday.
“We’ve already chosen a contractor, and it’s Shanghai Electric. We signed a contract about a year ago, we are now doing on-site works. As I see it, we are to receive a permit for construction and to start an active stage of construction until the end of the year,” he said.
TE-TO Pancevo, a joint venture of Serbia’s NIS and a subsidiary of Gazprom Energoholding, signed the contract with Shanghai Electric Group in November 2017. The plan’s capacity will amount to 200 megawatts (MW).
